MAY I say a big thank you to all friends and colleagues past and present, and from other Trusts who contributed to the wonderful gift I was presented with at my farewell party on November 19
I also received some lovely gifts from close friends.
For those who were unable to come to the party I was given a beautiful hardwood drinks/food trolley for the garden (with a maiden name of Binge you may be forgiven for thinking "very apt").
There are so many people to thank for making my day so special. My family and I will remember my retirement as a happy, loving occasion and one we will never forget. To you all I say a huge thank you. Goodbye, God bless.
Although I am hanging up my watch and belt I am not disappearing into the distance I am returning in a part-time capacity using my nursing and life learnt skills in a different way supporting all staff through yet more changes, within my role as the lead steward for the Royal College of Nursing.
