TV chef and healthy eating guru Peter Vaughan is offering shoppers a healthy way to start the day.

Mr Vaughan, who owns and runs the Healthy Life shop and bistro in Little Brittox, Devizes, is serving up a healthy and substantial breakfast.

The breakfast includes diced potatoes, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes with two fried, free-range eggs on top.

The idea is that a good breakfast will stop people from feeling hungry later in the day.

Mr Vaughan said: "We are trying to introduce people to the idea of starting the day with a substantial, healthy meal that will discourage them from snacking on biscuits and sweets."

The breakfast choice also includes porridge made from organically grown ingredients and topped with honey and fresh fruit like banana or fresh mango.

The Healthy Life is now stocking a range of tasty Christmas treats for people with food allergy problems.

Their Booja Booja truffle chocolates are gluten free, dairy free and diabetic-friendly.

They are sold in a beautifully varnished and painted papier mach box.
