NATIVE American dream catchers, Indonesian music and Portuguese legends were some of the activities recently laid on for young pupils of a school.
Visitors from around the world went to Covingham Park Infant School as part of One World Week.
Song and dance have played a big part in the event, with the children trying out Irish dancing, Gamalan music from Indonesia and a harpist accompanied stories from around the world.
To teach the children about the concept of Fairtrade, in which producers of goods are paid a fair price for their work, they were split into groups for a game in which one team was given an advantage.
The pupils were then asked if they thought it was fair for the winners to get a chocolate bar.
Reception class teacher Lorraine Sands, who has organised the events, said: "We wanted to give the little ones experiences from other countries so they would learn to value the diversity.
"They will all grow up in a multi ethnic society and they have really enjoyed the week."
