I HOPE you receive this letter before Christmas, of course, I'm sure you will but because of my recent experience, you can never be too sure.
I posted a letter with a first class stamp, the correct address and post code on November 10, it arrived at its destination on November 21. The vast area it travelled was from Cricklade Road to Stratton.
I have worked it out that I could have possibly trained a carrier pigeon in that time.
It has always been a mystery to me, why when the sorting office has top class technology, computers, franking and sorting of letters by post code etc, on machines costing millions of pounds, the end product is handed to a bloke on a bike.
Bring back the stagecoaches, that's what I say. Only kidding!
