THE vast majority of people I have spoken to were of the opinion that the Malmesbury Sunday Market was the best thing that has happened to Malmesbury in years.
I was always of the opinion that a majority carried the day.
But apparently as far as the town councillors are concerned they listen to what appears to be a minority when they decided to close it last week.
I suppose they will hope to have my vote at the next election?
