BRUNEL, that great Victorian engineer, was designer of the Great Western Railway, which English Heritage now want to recognise as a World Heritage site.
Isn't it wonderful that in the middle of Chippenham he has such a visible monument in the shape of the great railway bridge.
Isn't it tragic that Network Rail, like their predecessors Railtrack, seem to care so little about looking after it.
