A NIGHT of glamour organised by amateur fashion designer Wayne Palmer raised £1,000 for the Dorothy House hospice.
Wayne's World of Fashion, was held at Melksham Assembly Hall on November 14 and included a meal, catwalk show and party.
Mr Palmer, who not only created the 72 outfits but planned the whole evening right down to the menus, music and models, said: "We raised £1,000 and the night was really great. Everything clicked into place as I had imagined it and it all went to plan.
"The food was absolutely spot on and the atmosphere was very positive. Everything I had in my head from November last year happened and I have been on cloud nine ever since."
The event attracted a full house of 130 people.
Mr Palmer, 32, who works for DC Leisure, is taking a two-week break but has already started thinking about how to top the event.
He said: "I do something every year and I am sure I can come up with something for next year."
