THAMESDOWN Dial A Ride and Community Transport are looking for volunteer drivers for two of their services.
Every Tuesday and Friday, drivers are needed from 8.30am to 4pm to transport elderly people to and from the Thamesdown Stroke Centre in Pinehurst.
They are also after people to assist with the Dial A Ride car service every Tuesday.
This involves driving people of all ages who cannot use existing public transport due to mobility impairment or disability.
This allows residents throughout the borough and its surrounding rural areas to get around. Destinations can be anywhere in mainland Britain.
Volunteers will need to be over 21 with a full, clean driving licence and at least two years' driving experience.
A free minibus test will be provided and full training will be given.
To volunteer please call John Reeves on 01793 617828.
