WARMINSTER Town Council has voted not to support a postal ballot for future elections as members were unconvinced of its potential benefits.
Although some councillors support the idea it was defeated by a single vote. Despite this the scheme is still likely to be in place by December 2004 as part of the Government's plans to boost local democracy.
