RIVALS AFC Stratton and Wroughton, who had their match postponed last week, try again this weekend at the Crosslink Centre, writes RAY BURROUGHS.
Following the postponement, Premier leaders Trowbridge Town pulled seven points clear of Stratton who will be desperate not to fall further behind but Wroughton will be no pushover.
Cricklade Town are enjoying a good run and will be full of confidence after knocking out holders Malmesbury Vics in the first round of the Arthur Shipway Cup in the week.
They travel to Biddestone who are second in the table and will be looking to get back on the winning path after two successive defeats.
Aldbourne have perked up in recent weeks and last weekend's 5-0 win will have given Pete Orsi's side a confidence boost. They entertain Purton Reserves.
Chiseldon Castrol are at home to Westbury United who have one of the meanest defences in the league.
After a promising start Castrol have been denied points by late goals on quite a few occasions and have slipped to third from bottom in the table.
In Junior One, in-form Bromham travel to bottom club Purton and a victory could see them go top. Leaders Trowbridge Town Reserves are without a game.
Third-in-the-table Calne Town visit Down Ampney and could be made to struggle by the home side.
Wanborough take on neighbours Aldbourne Reserves and Cricklade Reserves entertain AFC Stratton Reserves.
Boss of New College Pete Horwat was fuming after his side were beaten in Junior Division Two last week by Blunsdon United Reserves.
He said: "They wanted the points more than we did and deserved their victory. Our commitment was pathetic."
The College look to bounce back at West Side Reserves.
Blunsdon United Reserves take on the league's highest scorers Pinehurst OB and manager Billy Elliott, who was delighted with his side's showing against the College will be looking for a repeat performance.
League leaders Swindon Asians are at home to Clarendon and Tidworth Garrison, and West Swindon will be looking to consolidate third spot with a victory over visitors Green Baize.
Minety who are going well in the section should collect another three points against Chiseldon Castrol Reserves and it could be a close call between Blyskawica and Trax.
