WITH several of the Western Division's leading sides embroiled in FA Trophy action, Cirencester can move into the top five with a favourable result at home to fellow promotion seekers Rugby United.

Seven wins and a draw from their last eight games has put the Centurions in contention but tomorrow's encounter heralds the start of a tough month of fixtures.

Bromsgrove, Sutton Coldfield and the Supermarine derby loom in the next four weeks and if Ciren emerge unscathed boss Brian Hughes believes they can be considered challengers.

He said: "We've got some big games coming up but I've watched most of the teams in this division now and, Redditch apart, no-one jumps out.

"If we can get through the next month okay then we'll be in decent shape."

Rugby, currently second in the table, have a mediocre home record but have collected six wins from eight on the road.

But an injury crisis leaves them without 10 first team players ahead of their trip to the Corinium Stadium.

Hughes said: "Rugby are a good side and they are dangerous away, in fact I think most of their wins have been away from home.

"I've heard they have a few injuries but I'm only ever worried about what we do and if we play to our potential we are a match for anyone."

Gareth Hopkins is Ciren's main injury worry.

The big striker picked up a knock on his knee in the draw at Ilkeston.

Jody Bevan is expected to partner Scott Griffin in attack if Hopkins is unable to recover in time.
