WORLD Cup winner Mike Catt goes straight back into the Bath side to face Leicester Tigers today (3pm) and there are bench spots for two other England aces.

Catt regains his club No 10 shirt just seven days after lifting the Webb Ellis Trophy with the in-form Olly Barkley moving to inside centre.

Centre Mike Tindall and club skipper Danny Grewcock come on to the bench, with Iain Balshaw being rested.

Bath are also without Irish centre Kevin Maggs, who has the flu.

For the first time this season there is a change in the pack due to Michael Lipman's three-week ban.

England Under 21 international James Scaysbrook starts at openside flanker as revealed in yesterday's Advertiser.

Prop David Barnes figures for only the second time this season, the 29-year-old starting from the bench.

Meanwhile, head coach John Connolly insists he is not worried about the 'World Cup effect' turning the tide against his side at Welford Road.

Leicester will parade all seven of their World Cup winners today.

Director of rugby Dean Richards has resisted the temptation to rest his stars on their victorious return from Australia with four picked to start and the other three on the bench.

But Connolly said: "It's not a concern for us what happens at Leicester. We just have to make sure what we do, we do well.

"Who plays at Welford Road is up to them. We have a belief in ourselves that we can win any match we go onto the field for. It doesn't mean we will do it, but we have that belief.''

England captain Martin Johnson, flanker Neil Back and hooker Dorian West are all on the bench for the Tigers but Ben Kay, Lewis Moody, Martin Corry and Julian White will all start.

A shoulder injury prevents Tigers' skipper and former All Black Josh Kronfeld from playing in his last week in England before returning home.

Loose-head prop Graham Rowntree captains the side in Kronfeld's absence.

A win at Welford Road will give Bath another massive boost heading into the second half of the season.

Connolly added: "It's a great position to be in at the halfway point and if we could win and Gloucester could knock off Northampton it would give us a good break for the rest of the season.''
