SWINDON Services - the council's environmental arm - is inviting residents to attend a no holds barred public meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting is a chance for people to quiz Swindon Services director John Short on waste minimisation, disposal and recycling, street services, including lighting, gritting and refuse collection.
Coun Fionuala Foley (Con, Old Town and Lawns) and the council's lead member for Swindon Services said: "This is a great opportunity for people in Swindon to let us know their views on the work done by Swindon Services."
Most local authorities contract out their environmental services, but Swindon Services takes responsibility for public toilets, housing repairs and improvements, grounds maintenance, cemeteries.
The meeting is at the Civic Offices in Euclid Street and runs from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Call 01793 463000.
