TRADERS are mopping up in Fisherton Street, Salisbury, after a weekend of flood misery.
Over the weekend several shops had flood water lapping at their doors following the heavy rain.
On Monday the situation worsened as torrential rain for most of the day brought water pouring over pavements and into shops.
Salisbury district council brought sandbags to protect shops and began an investigation into why the drains and gulleys failed to cope with the water.
