TROWBRIDGE Wanderers' under 16 side preserved their 100 per cent record with a 7-1 defeat of Cricklade in the Mid-Wilts League's Blue Division.

For the second time in seven days the two sides met in the pouring rain on a heavy pitch but the game was a more one-sided affair than last week's cup match.

Wanderers' goals came from Peter Andrews (2), Adam Shackle, Ashley Benison, Nick Ridout and two from substitute Charlie Holton.

Mark Dolman, Johnny Moriarty and Joe Matthews hit consolation goals as Corsham United lost 4-3 to Bath Arsenal in the same division.

In the Under 15 Red Division, leaders Wroughton defeated a plucky FC Chippenham side 2-0.

After a goalless first half, the goals came from Sean Buckly and Dave Gooden.

Home side FC Chippenham ended their Under 14 Blue Division game against Warminster Highbury all square at 3-3 after falling behind 3-1.

Chippenham saw goals from Mark Nolan in the first half, then one each from substitutes Dean Clarkson and Chris Smith with his first for the club.

Trowbridge Town Youth started their game against Shaw & Whitley at a slow pace and soon found themselves 1-0 down to a goal from Danny King. Trowbridge, though, hit back to win 4-2 with goals from Liam Milburn,Scott Cunningham and Ross Crighton.

In the Under 14 Green Division, Calne Town Youth dominated the first half of their away game against Shaw & Whitley, taking a clean 4-0 lead at the half-time break.

Shaw were more impressive in the second half and eventually made it 5-2 at full-time with consolation goals from Sean Benison and Ross Menghini.

Amesbury Juniors move up into third place in the Red Division after a 6-1 win over Melksham Park 2nd. Their goals came from Chris Street (3), Lee Cole, Ian Cockside and Luke Midwinter.

In the Under 13 Green Division, a late goal from Kent Kauppinen gave FC Chippenham a 1-1 draw with South Newton & Wishford.
