Asians' hopes of retaining their Swindon & District Indoor League Division One title took another dive as they went down to Shrivenham by 11 runs in their latest outing.
Mark Whale hit an unbeaten 47 and Dan Lloyd 34 as Shrivenham posted 109-5, before restricting their opponents to 98-5, Whale with 3-31 and Jag Chahal hitting 35.
In Division Two, Wootton Bassett got back on the winning trail by defeating Nalgo by just eight runs in a keenly contested game.
Consistent batting took Bassett to 123-2 and despite Sandy Steele-Davis' 29 Nalgo eventually fell short.
Minety continue to struggle,losing their latest game to Chameleon by 42 runs.Ian Mulholland top-scored with 34 not out as Chameleon totalled 111-3, Minety falling for 69 in eight overs.
Ramsbury registered a welcome win in Division Three by defeating Nalgo 3rd by three wickets. Paul Penfold smashed 44 not out for Nalgo but Richard Gilligan's 29 proved crucial as Ramsbury eased home with two balls to spare.
Swindon 2nd defeated Highworth by 19 runs, Mark Thomas making 48 in a winning total of 119.
Cirencester's good season continued as they beat Wroughton 2nd by 19 runs. Chasing 115 for victory Wroughton were always just off the pace despite Mick Jones' 38. Dave Hudson's 3-22 proved crucial.
Civil Service 2nd enjoyed an easy victory over struggling Woodlands by four wickets, and with more than five overs in the bank.
