The 10-year-old said: "My mum and dad work very hard to give me a perfect Christmas. They get me good presents.
"This year, I want to give them the perfect Christmas."
He especially wants to win the TV for his dad Mike who is a production worker at Tyco.
Robert, who attends Liden Primary School, said: "Every time we go out dad looks at all the TVs but doesn't buy one because he can't afford it."
He says his two brothers Jonathon, 15, and Nicholas, 13, and his mum Julie, 43, would enjoy shopping with the range of vouchers.
Mike said: "We are all very proud that he has done this."
