REFERENCE the letter from Simon Hart, chief executor, Countryside Alliance, entitled "Hunting ban hard to enforce".
There is I believe a simple remedy being considered by the Government to sequester the funds, held by any hunt who breaks the law, thereby immediately immobilising them.
Simon Hart also welcomed as suggested by the House of Lords, the eradication of cruelty by hunting. If this is practised by the hunt, who do they need a law to eradicate it? They could stop it now.
As for disobeying laws, many have been passed to protect hunting, for instance the trespass law, many people have been prosecuted by members of the hunt for breaking it.
All magistrates or any holding public office, who have signed a document saying they will disobey a law passed by Parliament should resign.
