The saved Football Social Club in Calne is hoping to set up a children's Saturday morning club if it can raise enough money.
Two months ago the club, in Bremhill View, was under threat as councillors planned to sell the land for housing development. But it was saved when pleas from the public persuaded Calne Town Council to renew the club's lease.
Club secretary Ann Wright said they now were keen to get the Saturday morning club going. This would be a group for seven to ten-year holds to take part in creative activities such as arts and crafts.
"It would be fantastic to start a Saturday club. We are getting a lot of support," said Mrs Wright. "We are trying to raise as much money as we can."
A tabletop sale will be held at the club on December 7 from 10am to raise money. If anyone would like to donate gifts they should contact Mrs Wright (01249) 813413.
