MIDDLETON Partners, the insolvency practitioners who specialise in corporate recovery, have appointed Michael Stevenson to the team.
Mr Stevenson joins the firm from accountants Smith & Williamson where he was national head of corporate recovery.
He will be based in Salisbury and will head up the south west office.
Mr Stevenson has been involved in business recovery and insolvency for 18 years and during that time has acted as administrative receiver, administrator, liquidator and supervisor of voluntary arrangements in a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, construction, leisure, retail, property and technology.
He has also taken appointments as trustee in bankruptcy.

Mr Stevenson qualified as a chartered accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co, and became a licensed insolvency practitioner in 1992.
