SHREWTON United put the previous week's defeat behind them to run out comfortable 4-0 winners over Shepton Mallet.
United dominated from the start, scoring their first midway through the half through Jessie Walters following a good run down the left.
Fifteen minutes after the interval, a timely pass from Mickey Ball, set up Dean Foot for an excellent goal from the edge of the area and with 15 minutes left, Shrewton were on a roll.
Foot, scored an impressive second, catching the 'keeper off his line and Ben Halski wrapped up the victory in the closing minutes.
"The match against Weston woke us up a bit," said United boss, Stuart Withers.
"But there are no easy games, we had to play well."
The Shrews visit Chard Town on Saturday for another league fixture.
In the second round of the Les Phillips Cup, Shrewton have been drawn away at Bristol Manor Farm. A date for the tie has yet to be confirmed.
