U16 League Cup
BEMERTON Heath Harlequins took a 4-1 lead at half time in their cup tie against Warminster Highbury before going on to finish 6-1 victors. Steve Deer (2), Matt Cox (2), Marvin Brown and Jack Slade scored for Bemerton with Joe Nolan replying for Warminster.
The game between home side FC Chippenham and Westbury Youth was very even throughout and could have gone either way. Lee Blackmore put Chippenham ahead but Westbury replied just before the break. Both sides missed a hat full of chances in the second half but one well taken chance from Westbury late in the game put them through to the quarter finals finishing 2-1 winners.
U15 League Cup
WARMINSTER Highbury had a roller-coaster of a game against home side Rowde Youth.
Highbury took the lead, lost the lead, equalised then won the game with a golden goal in extra time.
Dan Croker scored for Highbury before Luke Sutton and Douglas Dixon put Westbury 2-1 ahead. Nick Sleaman equalised for Highbury in normal time with Croker scoring his second and the golden goal to finish the game off.
U14 League Cup
BRADFORD on Avon go on to the next round of the cup following their 4-1 away victory against Westbury Youth. Joseph Chmiel scored for Westbury.
Darren Applegate put visitors AFC Corsham 1-0 up at the interval against home side Amesbury Juniors. Nathan Osgood put the home side level early in the second half before going on to win 2-1 with a late goal from Joe Gordon.
U13 League Cup
CASTLE Combe Colts sealed their victory in the first half leading 4-0 at the break against Warminster Highbury. The second half was a more even affair with both sides scoring one a piece seeing the final score at 5-1 to Castle Combe. John Hemmings (2), Richard Boulter, Andrew Lawton and Josh Summers scored for Castle Combe with Liam Flowers replying for Warminster.
U12 League Cup
FC Chippenham held back Blue Division leaders Trowbridge Wanderers until just before the half time whistle when Jake Hiscocks headed home giving the visitors a 1-0 lead.
Wanderers breached the determined Chippenham defence a further three times in the second half to finish 4-1 winners. Wanderers also saw goals from Ryan Spong, Declan Harrison and a second for Hiscocks.
U10 League Cup
WESTBURY Youth played host to AFC Corsham Jaguars which turned out to be an exciting tie with the Jaguars eventually running out victors in extra time
Corsham took the lead mid way through the first half after soaking up some Westbury pressure.
Lewis Gardiner and Bradley Lewis both went close for Westbury before William Bryant ran onto a through ball by Bradley to equalise for Westbury. Both teams looked for the winner but both defences were solid and both keepers made exceptional saves.
In extra time both teams again created a hatful of chances but Corsham caught Westbury pushing up and scored a second in the first period.
U16 blue
FOR the second time in seven days Trowbridge Wanderers and Cricklade met in the pouring rain on a heavy pitch but this game was a more one sided affair than last weeks cup match.
Wanderers played some excellent passing football and fully deserved their 7-1 victory which puts them at the top of the table.
Wanderers saw goals from the in-form Peter Andrews (2), Adam Shackle, Ashley Benison, Nick Ridout and two from substitute Charlie Holton to maintain their 100 per cent home record.
In a rearranged game Bath Arsenal took an early lead against home side AFC Corsham United but Corsham were up to the challenge and were back level at the interval.
The second half proceeded much like the first in a see-saw fashion with Bath taking the lead and Corsham replying until eventually time ran out for Corsham with Bath at 4-3 earning themselves their first three points of the season so far. Ross Presley, Jack Wyatt and Tom Purcell (2) scored for Bath with Mark Dolman, Johnny Moriarty and Joe Matthews replying for Corsham.
U16 red
AFC Corsham earned their second win of the season so far after taking three points from Trowbridge Town Youth for the second time. The game was close throughout but a goal in each half for the home side gave them the 2-0 victory. Matty Ralph and Lee Fernandez scored for Corsham.
U15 red
FC Chippenham were reduced to ten through injury within ten minutes against Wroughton Juniors.
Chippenham held back the division leaders going until the break but two fine strikes from Sean Buckly and Dave Gooden stole the game for the visitors at 2-0.
U14 blue
FC Chippenham ended their game against Warminster Highbury all square at 3-3 after falling behind 3-1. Chippenham saw goals from Mark Nolan in the first half, then one each from substitutes Dean Clarkson and Chris Smith with his first for the club.
Trowbridge Town Youth started their game at a slow pace and soon found themselves 1-0 down with a goal from Danny King for Shaw & Whitley.
Trowbridge quickly replied, within two minutes, to bring the game level through Liam Milburn. The half continued with Shaw playing the better football and it was against the run of play when Trowbridge took the lead through Scott Cunningham.
Shaw responded by increasing the pressure and were rewarded when King equalised before Ross Crighton gave them the lead for the second time.
The second half was a totally different game with Trowbridge dominating for long periods and bringing the game level through Toby Dawson. Only some fine saves from the visitors kept Trowbridge at bay but they couldn't hold out as Liam Milburn beat three defenders before putting in a fine cross for Liam Richards to head home and score the winner at 4-2 to Trowbridge.
U14 green
CALNE Town Youth dominated the first half of their away game against Shaw & Whitley taking a clean 4-0 lead at the break.
Shaw were more impressive in the second half taking the game to Calne and winning the second half 2-1 leaving the final score at 5-2 to Calne. Sean Benison and Ross Menghini scored for Shaw.
U14 red
AMESBURY Juniors move up into third place following their home win against Melksham Park 2nds. Amesbury controlled the play throughout and turned a 3-0 half time lead into a 6-1 final score. Chris Street (3), Lee Cole, Ian Cockside and Luke Midwinter scored for Amesbury with Chris McLaughlin replying for Melksham.
U13 blue
MELKSHAM Park move up to second in the table following their away win against Pewsey Vale. Melksham had the game wrapped up in the first half going in 4-0 up. Pewsey battled on scoring twice but another four for the home side secured their win. Luke Little scored both goals for Pewsey.
U13 green
BOTTOM of the table South Newton & Wishford took a deserved point, their first of the season so far, from their home game against FC Chippenham.
Aaron Blackmore gave the home side a 1-0 lead at the break than held back Chippenham until late in the game when Kent Kauppinen equalised.
U13 red
MELKSHAM Park 2nd looked to be heading for their first victory of the season in their home game against Worton & Cheverell. Melksham were leading 5-4 when deep into injury time Worton equalised at 5-5. Matt Crossley (4) and Josh Owen scored for Melksham.
U12 blue
CHIPPENHAM Town Youth earned their first win of the season so far away to Warminster Highbury.
Both teams created chances in the first half but neither side managed to make any count. Chippenham broke the deadlock then doubled their score before Joe Martin breached their defence leaving the final score at 2-1 to the visitors.
U12 red
A BOTTOM of the table clash brought together FC Chippenham and home side AFC Corsham.
The game was even throughout and finished all square at 2-2. Joe Gerrard and Jack Ewer scored for Corsham with Robert Felstead and Elliot Humphreys replying for Chippenham.
Trowbridge Wanderers improved their goal tally after running out 13-1 away winners against Melksham Park. Jordan Lucas scored for Melksham.
Warminster United Youth held off division leaders Calne Town Youth to the last five minutes of the first half when Mike Coulson gave the visitors the lead. Despite some great defending from Warminster Calne breached their defences twice more to finish 3-0 winners. Calne also saw goals from Sam Paget and a second for Coulson.
U11 blue
FC Chippenham earned their first three points of the season with a resounding 8-2 win against local rivals Chippenham Town Youth. Ajay Arithoppa (2), Joshua Cain (3), Tom Dunn and Joshua Hodges (2) all scored for FC Chippenham.
U11 green
IN absolutely atrocious conditions Trowbridge Town Youth travelled to Calne and set about taking the game to the home tem. Right from the start there was only one team in the game with Trowbridge controlling every position on the field.
Trowbridge created chance after chance only for poor finishing to let them down. Mid-way through the first half Trowbridge were caught on the break and Calne went 1-0 up.
Trowbridge kept pressing but an equaliser would not come. The second half started better for Calne and they soon doubled their score.
U11 red
WESTBURY Youth won their game against Pewsey Vale 3-0 with all goals scored in the first half. DJ Wheeler, Danny Tugwell and Sam Newton scored for Westbury. The win moves Westbury up to second place.
U11 yellow
MELKSHAM Park strengthened their place at second in the table with an emphatic 11-0 win against FC Chippenham. Melksham saw goals from Sam Forrester (2), Jack Mumford (3), Ross Jones (4), Nathan Thompson and Aaron Chalice.
Shaw & Whitley remain unbeaten at the top of the table following their 9-2 home win against Devizes Town Youth. Jordan Kirk (3) Alex Raeburn, George Harding, Damian Hansford, Declan Hillier, Jack Kelly and Lewis Heathcote scored for Shaw.
U9 green
CHIPPENHAM Town Youth played host to Trowbridge Wanderers with both teams working hard in the wind and rain drenched conditions. Only one goal separated the two sides which came from Elliot Drew in the second half to see Chippenham home and dry.
