THE youngest ever member of Marlborough library received his prize on Friday after his granny entered him in a competition run by Wiltshire County Council's libraries service.
Frazer Bailey was just 13 days old when his granny, Ann Harley, who lives in Marlborough, signed him up as a new member in October.
Now a mature nine weeks old, Frazer received his prize, a soft toy, a tape of nursery rhymes and some books, from Marlborough library on Friday, as winner of the Kennet district competition.
His four-year-old brother Harrison is keen on books, being particularly keen on Arthur and Thomas the Tank Engine, and his parents, Susan and Simon, are both avid readers.
Mrs Bailey said: "I think when Frazer is ready he will follow in our footsteps. He already loves looking at picture books and I'm sure Harrison will lend him some of his in future years."
