ROYAL George, languishing at the wrong end of Division One, turned the tables on high-fliers Salisbury Glass in Saturday's Chalke Cup preliminary round tie.
When the sides met in the league just a few weeks ago, Glass ran out 3-0 winners, however George progressed this time 8-2 with four goals in each half.
Mark Webb opened the scoring for them before Leigh Beavis' equaliser.
Two Marcus Turner goals plus one direct from a corner by Phil Thorne gave them a 4-1 advantage at the break.
Webb and Turner both completed hat-tricks after the interval as the floodgates opened.
Glass added a second, but Webb grabbed his fourth and his side's eighth after a fine ball from Neil Kennerson.
There may have only been two Division One games played, but they produced a total of 29 goals.
Leaders Enford beat Whiteparish 10-1 while second placed Netheravon hammered bottom of the table Friends Provident 16-2.
After five away games on the trot, Division Two outfit Club Rouge were happy to run out at home for a change.
They were first out of the blocks against a a young, but determined Amesbury RBL outfit scoring twice in the opening ten minutes via Paul Collinson and Dennis Callanan.
However, RBL clawed their way back into the game and were deservedly level midway through the half.
Jon Crowder put Rouge back in front in typical style, beating two defenders before slipping the ball past the 'keeper.
Crowder made sure of the points when he grabbed a second two minutes from full time.
Runaway Division Three leaders Anchor & Hope made it 11 wins from as many starts when they beat Chalke Valley Reserves 6-2. Strugglers Winterslow Reserves picked up a point at Hogshead.
