I HAVE a friend who has been denied one of a small number of pleasures by a person who chose to steal her bird seed holder from her garden.

As she is paralysed, my friend has access to fewer pleasures than most of us, so this act, which stops her from watching wild birds feed, is particularly despicable.

If the person who stole the feeder (and pole) would kindly return it, their action would go some way towards reducing the upset caused by the theft.
