Premier Division Wroughton are once again on their travels this weekend, visiting the Red House to take on Purton Reserves.

With Wroughton's Weir Field facilities still not sorted out the game has been switched to Purton.

Wroughton boss Chris Pethick said: "I reckon we ought to be called Wroughton Wanderers. Hopefully our ground situation will soon be sorted and we can get back to our base.

"It's good of Purton to let us switch the game. This will be the third time we have played them this season. We have drawn one and lost one, so perhaps we are due for a win.

"We have got a reasonable side but we'll be without James Richards, who scored twice at Stratton last week. But if we play as well as we did against them we could get a result."

Purton boss Ian Restell, seeking a more professional look from his troops, put it to the squad that they would look the part in tracksuits. So each member of the squad duly forked out £40 each to kit themselves out.

Premier leaders Trowbridge Town travel to Shrewton United Reserves, and, depending on the availability of the home side, could find themselves pushed to come away with the points.

AFC Stratton, who cut the deficit to four points last weekend, visit Aldbourne, and no doubt will be keeping a close eye on the Trowbridge result.

Their first priority, however, will be to pick up maximum points against an Aldbourne side that is capable of coming up with some useful results at times.

Biddestone, in second spot, are at home to Corsham, and should keep the pressure on the leaders.

Chiseldon Castrol will be hoping for a change in their fortunes against Warminster Town, who have slipped to just below halfway in the table.

With good availability, Graham Clements' side could well pick up three much-needed points.

Cricklade Town, who are on the fringes of the championship contenders, visit Malmesbury Vics, and they must keep winning to stay in touch with the leaders.

Marlborough Town, who have had a bad run in recent weeks, are at home to Bradford Town, and may be forced to wait another week before getting back on the winning path.

Match of the day in Junior Division One could be at Calne, where the home side take on Wootton Bassett United. Both sides have games in hand over the leaders, and, as the Calne senior side have a game, Bassett could be in with a shout.

Another side with a couple of games in hand over the leaders are Wanborough United in fourth spot. They entertain Down Ampney and will be looking for maximum points.

In Junior Division Two, bottom club QT Swindon will be looking to build on last week's victory, and could be in with a chance against visiting Westside Reserves.

At the top of the table, New College will have to be at their best at Minety, and the same applies to second-placed Swindon Asians, who are at home to Blyskawica.

Blunsdon United Reserves and West Swindon could provide the locals with a close entertaining game.
