A WESTBURY man has been honoured for years of service and dedication to hospital care.
Maurice Jones died last year after 40 years as the chairman of the League of Friends for Westbury Hospital.
On Thursday a day care room was named in his honour and the League of Friends unveiled a plaque and bench.
Brenda Jones, his widow, said: "The whole family were overwhelmed by the gesture."
The plaque was sculpted by Brian Matthew from Westbury Rotary Club and £500 was donated to the British Heart Foundation.
