FANS of classic cabaret still have time to snap up a ticket for this weekend's concert in aid of the Swindon Cancer Appeal.

Singer Stuart Burnley will be bringing the sounds of Englebert Humperdink and Johnny Mathis alive at Blunsdon House Hotel.

And every penny raised from the show and a raffle will help improve the lives of people in Swindon living with cancer.

John Holmes, who has organised an annual charity concert at the hotel for 22 years, said: "We're pleased with the amount of tickets we have sold, which is currently around 130, but still have more.

"I would urge people to snap them up.

"There is always a fabulous atmosphere, and it's a great night out for all the family."

Tickets cost £8 and are available by calling John's shop, Holmes Music, on 01793 526393.

Alternatively, drop into the store at 21-23 Faringdon Road, Swindon.

Tickets can be booked in advance and picked up on the door.

The concert starts at 7pm on Sunday.
