A lucky reader has scooped £5,000 of prizes from conservatory specialist Paragon of Holt.
The competition ran in the Wiltshire Times and Chippenham News for five weeks and over 500 readers entered by collecting tokens and answering questions on Paragon's products.
Ten finalists were treated to a buffet and prize-winning draw at Paragon of Holt on Monday, compered by Trowbridge town crier Trevor Heeks, where Paul Nicholls, of North Bradley, was announced as the winner.
Retired Mr Nicholls, 66, scooped the top prize after picking an envelope with the winning ticket inside.
He is now planning how to spend the £5,000 and hopes to use the winnings to pay for a new garage door and repairs around his house in North Bradley, which has been his home for 37 years.
He said: "My wife Shirley nearly passed out when we won.
"We already have a conservatory but Paragon have suggested we install an air conditioning unit to keep it warm during the winter and cool in the summer."
Carol Moth, sales and marketing executive at the Wiltshire Times, said: "We had over 500 entrants which was fantastic.
"Thanks should go to Paragon of Holt for allowing us to run the competition."
The other nine finalists were Darren Smith of Trowbridge, Elizabeth Alder of Warminster, D Sawyer of Pewsham, Shirley Payne of Derry Hill, M Matthew of West Ashton, Dawn Wilkins of Corsham, Paulette Larmour of Bromham, S Chapman of Holt, and Tina Chowles of Bradford.
Pam and Trevor Borck launched Paragon of Holt in 1990.
