READERS are being urged to vote for the best book ever as part of a national survey by the BBC.
The Big Read search was launched in April with the aim of finding the nation's favourite book.
From a list of 100 titles put forward by the public, people in west Wiltshire are now being invited to vote for one of the top 21 entries.
Titles in list include Catch 22 by Joseph Heller, Great Expectations by Charles Dickens, Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire by JK Rowling, Winnie the Pooh by AA Milne and War And Peace by Leo Tolstoy.
Celebrities have presented programmes putting the case for their favourite books.
The winning book will be announced in a programme on BBC2 on Saturday December 13.
