COLIN Bush is backing his Corsham side to cope with the threat of Willand Rovers' deadly strike force in tomorrow's Screwfix League Division one encounter.

Steve Ebdy and former non-league footballer of the year, Phil Everitt, have been in prolific form this season but the Corsham manager believes he has the side to snuff out their danger.

Bush said: "Everitt is a terrific striker who has scored goals throughout his career. He also seems to have helped Steve Edby who is also a very lively striker.

"But I am confident in my side's ability and if we take the game to them, then I see no reason why we can't stop them.

"Nigel Curtis is an experienced player for us and I am sure he will be able to deal with them."

Corsham go into tomorrow's match in fifth place in the league, having enjoyed a run of five consecutive victories.

In comparison, Willand are seven points worse off, in 14th position, but Bush is expecting a very tough match.

He said: "They are a very good side. Their position is a false one and they are definitely one of the best sides in the league.

"We are going to have to be at our best to beat them and will need to improve on last week's performance at Ilfracombe."

He continued: "We are at home and will go into the match full of confidence having won our last five games.

"Our mental attitude was not right at Ilfracombe on Saturday but it was always going to be difficult there. We need to make sure we get it right tomorrow but I am sure the lads will be up for it.

"Everything is set up for a really good, exciting game of football and I am looking forward to it."

Goalkeeper Craig Chaplin will come back into the squad, as will Ryan Bush but there are unlikely to be many changes from Saturday's winning team.
