CIRENCESTER Town will give a late fitness test to striker Gareth Hopkins ahead of tomorrow's clash at Bromsgrove Rovers the start of a key spell for Brian Hughes' men.
Hopkins has a knee complaint, the same problem that is affecting defender/midfielder Andy Minturn, who is definitely out of the trip to the Midlands.
Otherwise, Hughes will stick with the players that saw off Rugby 3-0 last weekend as Ciren try to make it 10 unbeaten in the Dr Martens Western Division.
Town haven't lost in the league since September 6, when they were turned over 3-2 by Bedworth at home.
But Hughes admits tomorrow's encounter against the fourth-placed side, plus next week's trip to third-placed Sutton Coldfield will be major hurdles.
"We are very pleased with the way we are going at the moment,'' said Hughes.
"But I fully expect the next two games to be tough and they will probably tell us a lot more about ourselves.
"Last year, we lost at Bromsgrove but we are playing well away from home, so if ever there is a good timt to play these next two matches, this is probably it.''
