A PEDIGREE Dalmatian who ate a frozen chicken could become the coolest dog in the country.
Owners Samantha Cardus and Clive Woods, from west Wiltshire, entered 13-month-old George into the Drontal Coolest Canine Competition.
The couple made the decision after George climbed on top of a fridge to get a frozen chicken.
Mr Woods said: "My girlfriend was on the internet and found entrants for this competition but thought George was much better so sent in a photo and a story.
"We think George is the coolest dog because once he climbed across kitchen appliances over six feet high to reach a frozen chicken and he ate the lot inside an hour, all the bones too.
"The chicken was as hard as a table.
"You just can't leave him alone. He tips over bins and everything."
The couple bought George and his sister Daisy from Leeds on Boxing Day 2002 but do not want to release their address.
The Drontal Coolest Canine Competition is set to raise thousands of pounds for charities Pets As Therapy, Dogs for the Disabled, Canine Partners and Birmingham Dogs at Home.
Dog lovers can see the entries on www.coolestcanine.com and the eventual winner will be announced in February.
