A ROAD junction at Monkton Farleigh has been condemned as lethal by a county councillor who fears nothing will be done to improve safety until someone gets killed.
County councillor Terry Chivers wants improvements made to the junction of the A363 at Monkton Farleigh to make it safer.
He has written to the police asking for their support but says they will not support his campaign.
Bradford sergeant Mark Rees said: "I have checked the site and there are some relatively new and prominent signs warning vehicles travelling up the hill on the A363 of the Monkton Farleigh junction."
Sgt Rees also said there has been only one slight injury accident there in the last three years.
Cllr Chivers said: "I regret that I am getting very little support from the county council or the police as regard to improvements in this area.
"When you pull out onto the A363 you do so blind.
"When someone is killed I do not want to be the one to say I told you so.
"It would seem that everyone is in agreement that this is a very dangerous junction apart from the police and county council."
