Ref. 28050-28DANCER Adrienne Hart has returned to Swindon to set up her own company and will be showing her debut production tomorrow.
The 21 year-old grew up spending her weekends at the Town Hall studios and is returning there to perform Beauty and Decay a mix of live dance and film.
With the Neon Production Company, Adrienne aims to use digital technology to enhance dance.
She trained with Swindon Dance from the age of three to 17 and took a one-year foundation course run by the agency in association with Swindon College.
Completing a dance A Level examination in one year helped her win a scholarship to the London School of Contemporary Dance.
After that she became assistant choreographer at the Aberdeen based Elbow Room Contemporary Dance Company and toured the country with Medsmama which received a four-star award from the List Magazine.
The former pupil at Wootton Bassett School moved back to Swindon earlier this year and now lives with her parents in Miller Close, West Swindon.
She said: "You don't have to live in London to find amazing opportunities in dance and the creative world.
"I wanted to start something new here in my home town."
Beauty and Decay combines live movement with a film based on two girls and their vivid imaginations.
The film was made in Ravens Woods near Minety.
Tickets for Beauty and Decay cost £6 for adults and £4 for concessions. For more information and to book, call 01793 463210.
