FUTURE graduates of Swindon College's School of Art and Design will receive certificates stamped with the mark of the University of Bath.
The university has agreed to validate all of the school's degree and post-graduate courses.
"It means the university will put its quality assurance stamp on degrees running at Swindon College," said Bill Hunt, the art school's curriculum and quality manager.
"This is really good news because the involvement of a prestigious university makes our courses even more attractive to prospective students."
The school, which offers seven degree courses, five HNDs and an MA in Archaeological Illustration, is holding an open day on Wednesday from 9.30am until 8pm at its Victoria Road buildings.
"Last year we had record breaking successes with 46 students graduating and 15 gaining first class honours degrees, placing us among the best performing art schools in the country," said Mr Hunt.
The school has recently published its latest prospectus and copies can be obtained from the college on 01793 491591.
