Chippenham's remarkable turnaround continued on Saturday as they beat WImborne 34-17 in South West Two East to make it eight wins on the trot.
Their cause was not helped before kick-off, with several players out through injury and unavailability.
John Todd returned to the second row, although skipper Rupert Crockett was still out with a neck injury.
Wimborne used the strong wind to their advantage early on and Chippenham were pegged back, conceding an early try.
They responded with a well-worked try of their own as fly-half Dan Reynolds broke through and linked with centre Matt Spurway, who released veteran winger Joscelyn Barnes to score under the posts.
Reynolds added the conversion.
This was quickly followed by a try from full-back David Spiers with Reynolds again adding the conversion to give Chippenham a 14-7 lead at half time.
Wimborne kicked an early penalty in the second period, but Chippenham responded by kicking to the corner before Todd took the lineout and No 8 Andy Davey went over from close range.
WImborne managed a converted try, to close the gap to two points, but flanker Richard Kearney pounced on a loose ball and Spiers then crossed.
Reynolds added the conversion before striking over a late penalty for the visitors.
