WASTE Not Want Not - a Swindon-based furniture recycling project - is set to receive £42,703 to pay for new facilities.
The group will receive the money over three years from the National Lottery Community Fund.
The money will pay for a new van, the salary of a part-time driver, disabled toilets facilities and training support for volunteers.
Phil Reade, manager of Waste Not Want Not, said: "It will increase our capacity to handle our rapidly growing supply of furniture and household goods to people on low incomes as well as supporting our volunteers."
