Cirencester made it 10 league games unbeaten with a goalless stalemate at potential promotion rivals Bromsgrove.
Had both sets of forwards been in better form, a 5-5 draw would have been a fairer reflection of the game.
Ciren were first to threaten with Scott Griffin latching on to a Paul Thompson free-kick but his shot on the turn was well saved by home keeper Paul Wyatt.
In their next build up Ben Fitch's angled shot was well saved by Wyatt who also did well to smother a powerful shot from Mark Richards.
Bromsgrove's Mark Atkinson and Marcus Jackson threatened every time they ventured forward and the former provided the perfect cross to find Mark Benbow in the clear but he fired wide from five yards.
Cirencester countered with another break when Darren Robison found Fitch with space and his run finished with a powerful shot which was well saved by Wyatt.
With half time looming Griffin had a powerful shot well saved and the same player was just wide of target after receiving a pass from Andy McCabe.
The second half started in similar fashion with Ciren on the attack.
Griffin saw his angled shot flash the wrong side of a post and shortly after Fitch's fierce shot hit the side netting.
The best chance of the game fell to Adam Mayo who fired over with the goal at his mercy after Jody Bevan had prompted defensive panic in the box.
Not to be undone, the home side went close when Benbow's tremendous shot brought a brilliant save from Thompson and from the rebound the Ciren shot-stopper somehow managed to parry the striker's follow up.
A hopeful 30-yard drive from Robison ended the glut of chances as both sides had to settle for a point.
