I wonder how many of your readers realise that under a new law from now on it could be an offence to send Christmas cards showing a nativity scene to an office for fear of offending other faiths.

This would seem to be another of those regulations passed almost secretly by Whitehall or perhaps coming from Europe without the public knowing.

Sadly this follows on from Red Cross shops apparently banning nativity scenes from window displays for a similar reason.

I doubt whether other countries would act in a similar manner.

We as a nation are going down a very dangerous road. Who knows (and it is not as silly as it may sound) in years to come if we continue with this attitude the singing of the traditional and well loved Christmas carols in public might well be banned.

The true message of Christmas is that Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem to be our Saviour. Let us not be afraid to proclaim this wonderful message to the world.
