THE County Cup decimated the Cirencester & District Youth League programme, but it was business as usual for Cricklade.
The under 14 team moved into the next round of the League Cup with a 2-1 win over Highworth Juniors.
Cricklade took the lead after 15 minutes with a goal from James Lally.
A second goal followed almost straight from the restart with Lee Cottom providing the killer touch.
The score remained 2-0 at half time.
Highworth made the second half interesting when Ritchie Wright reduced arrears but Cricklade held on to progress.
In the Under 13 League, Cirencester Juniors won 5-2 at home to Eldene Colts and Malmesbury beat Ashton Keynes 8-2.
Brunel Boys moved up to third in the under 11/12 division after a last-gasp win over Rodborough.
Top scorer Connor Doble struck a fine individual goal in the second minute of injury time to hand Brunel maximum points.
At under 15 level, Broughton were beaten 8-4 by Stratton.
