DEVIZES AC were unable to make it five wins out of five, but still clinched the Angling Times League title (Upper Thames Division) after the last round on the canal at Bedwyn.
They missed making it a whitewash by just one point when they were beaten by Stroud-based Lobby's Tackle 92-91.
However, they won overall overall by Devizes AC (7pts) ahead of Lobby's, who stole runners-up spot from Swindon Tribe.
Tribe, however, produced two of the top four individuals, with Gary Etheridge finishing with a 11-3-8 winning roach bag.
Brian Ballard (Radcot AC) was second with 10-2, followed by Tribe's Ray Russell (8-4) and Steve Collins (Thatcham) (6-12).
Devizes also supplied two out of the top three individuals overall with Kevin Rowles again top with a 62-point series total, ahead of Andy Powell (Lobby's, 60) and teammate Rob Kepner.
