SWINDONIANS sending Christmas cards to friends and family overseas should get scribbling.
People have until Friday to send their Christmas greetings to Eastern Europe, North America and Japan.
Those with friends and loved ones closer to home in Western Europe have a few days longer the last post is Monday.
Second-class post to be delivered in the UK is Thursday December 18 a week before Christmas while the first class deadline is December 20.
People should ensure items are correctly packaged, with clearly written addresses and postcodes.
Ensure a sender's address is marked on the back of the mail too.
The deadline has already gone for airmail to countries outside Europe except Canada, USA and Japan was Monday
