Changes are being made to the flexible Wigglybus service in the Calne area following feedback from passengers.

The main changes will be to the Calne town service, which has been altered to meet passenger demand.

The other services will continue to operate as they are.

The Calne town service, line three, will now operate on Springfield Drive, Woodsage Way, Honeysuckle Close, Lickhill Road, Dixon Way, Swaddon Street, William Street and Porte Marsh Road.

The existing Wigglybus town service route will be stopped.

Wigglybus manager Tim Reynolds said: "We consulted closely with local people before the Wigglybus was launched in the Calne area in April and have continued to do so since then.

"We have been discussing the service with passengers during the last seven months to see where improvements could be made.

"The changes we are making are a result of that consultation."

Consultation on three of the first set of proposed stops is currently taking place in Heddington and Stockley.

A new leaflet featuring a map of services, a timetable and details of fares will be available from Monday.

The leaflet will be available from Calne Town Council, local libraries, tourist information centres, Calne Community Area Transport Group (Calne CAT) and on the Wigglybus.
