CHILDREN from St Michael's School in Aldbourne sang carols around the memorial cross on The Green on Saturday as part of the village's Victorian Evening.
The event was organised by the village's carnival committee and was a great success, said chairman Sarah Turner.
To complete the festive spirit there was even snow for the children to play with thanks to a snow making machine.
Ms Turner said: "We always makes sure it snows for the Victorian evening."
It was cold enough for real snow but despite the chill, said Ms Turner, a large crowd turned out to support the event.
Edwards Fair was on The Green with traditional Victorian rides including swingboats. Father Christmas put in an appearance and there was a Punch and Judy show for the children.
There were a number of craft stalls and patio heaters kept stallholders warm!
Proceeds are to be shared between the carnival committee and St Michael's School.
