THE Corsham bandwagon rolled on last weekend as they chalked up their sixth win on the spin.
Nobby Bush's side rose to fifth in the Screwfix League First Division table thanks to goals from Dave Kilmurray, Alan Griffin and Frankie Coleman.
Willand's prolific striker Phil Everett drew a rare blank thanks in part to a tactical switch at the back for Corsham.
Assistant-manager John Woods said: "We juggled things round at the back to deal with Everett. Nigel Curtis dropped back to centre-half and Jack Cullis switched to midfield.
"We were pleased with how it worked out and Nigel and Jack can adapt to different positions anyway.
"It's going well for us at the moment but we are not really doing anything different.
"It was a good all round performance and we were very pleased with everybody. We defended well and looked good going forward."
Corsham dominated from the outset with Dave Kilmurray heading against the crossbar after 19 minutes.
Alan Griffin's downward header was saved by Brian Cann but the breakthrough finally came on 31 minutes.
Kilmurray worked himself some space and let fly with a cross shot that found the far corner of the net.
Corsham then doubled their lead in first-half stoppage time when Griffin got on the end of Frankie Coleman's cross.
After the interval Kilmurray had a shot saved and Woods clipped a post before Coleman's deflected shot sealed the visitors' fate seven minutes from time.
Woods said both he and manager Nobby Bush felt the team were finally showing their true potential after making a slow start to the season.
"We were hoping it would come good and we felt we were capable of it," he added.
"After a couple of heavy away defeats we were wondering if we were right but this run is proving it.
"We are still a long way from where want to be but we will try to keep things ticking over and wins build confidence which then snowballs."
Corsham is fast becoming a place that away teams dread to visit with Town picking up six wins and a draw from their nine matches at Southbank.
"We are not bad at home," added Woods. "The games we didn't win were unlucky so we could have won nine from nine.
"We had a good training session last Wednesday to prepare for Willand and we will keep training the same and not change anything. e will keep everyone's feet on floor and keep trying to recover from our poor start."
Woods singled out Dave Kilmurray for particular praise after the forward put in another man of the match display.
"Dave played really well and is getting his reward for hanging in there," said Woods.
"We are getting our reward as well because some managers might have lost patience in him.
"But we felt he was still playing well despite not scoring and now he is getting a goal a game.
"We had a little chat afterwards and he says there's more to come so I'm keeping my fingers crossed."
This Saturday Corsham will look to make it win number seven when they travel to Street who are two places below them in the table.
Ryan Bush should return to the squad after missing last weekend through illness but Carl Bush is yet to recover from an ankle injury.
