CHIPPENHAM U14s this week celebrated retaining the Bristol Combination Cup following their convincing 27-7 triumph over Cleve.
Chippenham came out on top despite playing with only 14 players for all but ten minutes of the match.
In a pulsating contest Chippenham spurned an early try scoring opportunity when the scoring pass did not go to hand.
Soon after prop Simon Livesey was sent off for foul play but Chippenham boys refused to give up.
Centre Tom Boreham waltzed his way through the Cleve defence to touch down and shortly after slotted over a penalty.
Cleve hit back two converted tries to take the lead but Chippenham lifted their game and Andrew Bailey and Matt Tatara both went over. Callum Fannin added another try to complete the scoring.
Coach Jerry Field said: "This performance ranks alongside anything I have seen in junior rugby."
