PUPILS at Rushall School invited their parents and grandparents to help them design and make their Christmas stockings.
All 60 children in the school, were involved in the workshop.
Infants head Michelle Dance said mums and dads and grandparents were invited along the help the children make their stockings.
Miss Dance said the children used a variety of fabrics, glitter and snowmen shapes to make their stockings and added: "We had glitter dust everywhere."
Some of the children insisted they took their stockings home rather than leaving them overnight.
"They were worried about leaving them at school in case the stockings were not at home when Father Christmas came," said the teacher.
l There was glitter and glue aplenty at Kennet Valley School's lower school site in Lockeridge on Thursday when parents joined pupils for their annual Christmas decoration workshop.
The challenge this year was to produce a dove made from card and folded paper to hang on the Christmas tree.
The Christmas workshop at the upper school site in East Kennett that was scheduled to take place on Monday has had to be postponed. The electricity supply in the village is due to be cut off between 10am to 2pm and the school site is being closed for the day.
The workshop will take place next Thursday instead.
