STEVE White's Chippenham Town travel south to face Havant and Waterlooville this weekend looking to end a run of six consecutive league defeats.
The Hampshire club will provide the Bluebirds with a stern test as they are currently riding high in seventh place in the table.
The club was formed in June 1998 when Waterlooville Football Club amalgamated with Havant Town Football Club.
The side was promoted to Dr Martens Premier Division in 1999/2000 and last season put together a consistent campaign to finish just below Chippenham in eighth place.
They have so far picked up eight wins and six draws from their 19 league matches and are only four points behind second placed Hinckley United.
Among the more recognisable names in the Havant and Waterlooville squad are goalkeeper Chris Tardif, who gained league experience with neighbours Portsmouth, and ex-Bournemouth midfielder Chukki Eribenne who has an eye for goal.
Chippenham will be looking to avenge their defeat in the corresponding fixture at Westleigh Park last season.
Havant and Waterlooville's 1-0 triumph in February had ended the Bluebirds' impressive six-month unbeaten league run.
The game, which was the first since the £2,000 sale of striker Steve Tweddle to rivals Bath City, should have been wrapped up by Chippenham long before the home side's winner 15 minutes from time.
Havant, who at that stage were concentrating on avoiding relegation, had been missing six regulars and made matters worse for themselves when midfielder Neil Davis was sent off for a foul on Steve Brown in the 70th minute.
But as has been the case this season Chippenham did not take their chances despite pinning their hosts back.
Charlie Griffin, Wayne Thorne, Martin Paul and Mark Badman could not convert their chances and Havant battled back after the break to set up a frantic finish.
The vital goal came when Brett Poate netted a brilliant free-kick 15 minutes from time and although Paul, Griffin and Adie Mings all went close the home side held out.
Victory for Chippenham could lift them off the bottom of the table but Havant and Waterlooville will be equally keen on picking three points that could lift them as high as fourth.
Whatever the result it will not be too long before the two sides meet again in the league when Havant and Waterlooville visit Hardenhuish Park on Saturday January 24.
