SWINDON slipped to their second Bucks, Berks & Oxon One defeat with a late penalty try.

The visitors started well and a scrum on the Bletchley 22 saw Mark Scarrott pick up and drive and quick ruck ball saw Andy Morley on hand to touch the ball down at the post.

Nathan Waite added the simple conversion but Bletchley came back hard and notched a penalty to make it 7-3.

A Waite penalty from the touchline followed by a reply from Bletchley made it 10-6.

A pinpoint throw from Andy Holt allowed the pack to drive for the line and Scott Chapman dived over.

Swindon continued to dominate and continued poor discipline from Bletchley allowed the forwards to set up another rolling maul.

Morley peeled off to score his second of the day.

Waite added a conversion from and, although Bletchley pulled a try back, Swindon led 22-11 at the break.

But it all went wrong after the break as Bletchley pulled an early try back and another converted try gave them the lead by a solitary point.

With 13 minutes remaining, Waite converted another superb penalty from the halfway line to give Swindon a 25-22 lead.

But Bletchley were awarded a penalty that won them the game.
